Transformers Online MMO

Jagex are developing the Transformers MMO using technologies they developed for RuneScape. That means the Transformers game will be web-based playable through the browser. It is unclear whether a Jagex account will allow players to login to Transformers Online or if they will need to create new accounts.

Guild Wars 2

Guild Wars 2 won't be out for a while yet, but anxious fans may still be able to try it out next year. Eurogamer (via VE3D) is reporting that NCSoft isn't expecting any major launches in 2010, but that fans can expect at least two big games the year after.

"I believe there will be certain public events in the year 2010... at least a closed beta test for those titles. Commercialization will be expected, at this point, probably some time in the year 2011," chief financial officer Jaeho Lee said during a recent conference call.

NCSoft expects to release Guild Wars 2 and Blade & Soul this year in 2011, the latter in Korea. No word on how to get into the closed betas, but we'll likely know more next year.

RuneHead for RuneScape Clans

If you're in a RuneScape Clan then you're probably listed on RuneHead, the database for both RuneScape clans and non-clans. All you have to do to get started on RuneHead is to create a memberlist with a bunch of Rs characters (your clan members) and then the hiscores will update automatically.

If you run into problems, go to RuneScape Community, the official forums for RuneHead, and post about your issue. Once everything is set up and running, make a clan signature using Draynor for your clan that you can use to show your clan some support.

Runefest with RuneHQ

RuneHQ has the pleasure of going to RuneFest this year. It will be RuneScape's first real-life event with speakers from Jagex. The Sailing skill will be announced perhaps, or something else. RuneHQ will be providing more information on this.
